Letter of Intent

The purpose of this letter of intent is to help us understand whether your project aligns with the Foundation's mission and the board's funding priorities for this period.

It asks about your organization, its mission, the community it serves, and the funding you're seeking. Have this information on hand, then begin when you're ready.

Your organization

Private foundations are only permitted to fund organizations that are tax-exempt, or that apply through a fiscal sponsor that is.

We're unable to accept this letter of intent

As a private foundation, the Zemurray Foundation is only able to fund organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, or those applying through a fiscal sponsor that holds that status.

If your organization's circumstances change, we would welcome an application in the future.
